COMMERCIAL IMPACT ADVISORY GROUP – CIAG

The Commercial Impact Advisory Group (CIAG) is made up of relevant Industry professionals other than those directly involved in the Project VisualMusic Consortium. The CIAG advises on development and refinement of the business model for the VisualMusic technology based on market research gathered by the consortium. The CIAG also advises and evaluates the commercial exploitation strategy produced by the consortium and will feed into the design/development process where appropriate.

The setting up of the VisualMusic Commercial Impact Advisory Group is ongoing. The members of the CIAG will be listed in this section as soon as the CIAG is created.

Born in Bari in 1970, he has a legal background and has specialized in Organization of Cultural Events in 1996 with the Fondazione Fitzcarraldo, managing activities related to entertainment music, and developing socio-cultural animation projects. Among the most recent major projects in which he played the role of Executive Director: Design Week Festival, one of the main events of the Milan Fuorisalone; Overture, the actual music festival; IF! Italians Festival, festival of national importance on advertising; Linecheck, music informal meetings; Festival dell’Innovazione, Innovation event on the world. And ‘President of Italian Quality Music festivals, national network that brings together the leading Italian music festival and founded in 2008 Moremedia, Association for the development of digital culture.

A Munich-based artist, Julian is getting booked up across Germany, playing at Harry Klein, Uebel & Gefaehrlich, Watergate and festivals like SonneMondSterne, Airbeat One and Rave on Snow, as well as for clubs across Europe like World HQ in the UK. With plays on BBC Radio 1 and endorsements from big names like Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola and Oliver Koletzki among many others, he’s raring to go and you know it! Born in Villena (Alicante), at the early age of 13 years old, he started to discover the fascination of record players, arousing an infinite curiosity for any kind of music.
His career led him to program music in many venues in the area, getting to set up his own record store at that time when it was still possible to make a living of it.
For some time now, he has been focused on collaborating with the Spanish national radio station (Radio Nacional) and a local radio station with the main goal of disseminating the pop culture among his fellow citizens.

We were in 2006 when, as Vidaber, this boy from Italy, with a strong passion for video decided to invest in his own career as Vj. His focus was and still to mix music with different images and visual effects. He didn’t stop at simple video editing; he participated in various events and festivals as a VJ, collaborating with various artists dj’s and organizations from techno & House scene. VJing is a broad designation for realtime visual performance. Characteristics of VJing are the creation or manipulation of imagery in realtime through technological mediation and for an audience, in synchronization to music. VJing often takes place at events such as concerts, nightclubs, music festivals and sometimes in combination with other performative arts. This results in a live multimedia performance that can include music, actors and dancers. The term VJing became popular in its association with MTV’s Video Jockey but its origins date back to the New York club scene of the 70s.

Mitch Mikhail Mauracher, age 44 – Vj since ca 1996, works in Music Industry since he was 16 (from organisation to developing Events), Vjed in several Venues and Festivals like Garden Festival or Southport Weekender – been resident in Livello57, Kindergarten. Toured with Brands like Luckystrike and Nissan, Fiat.

Giordano Dini was born in 1982 in Italy. In 2009 graduated in cinema at Bologna University. Since then he work as motion designer, sound designer, music producer, Vj, game developer.
Nowadays he teaches visual design at IED (Institute European Design ) Florence. He worked for video projects with groups like Samsung, TotalErg, Bikkembergs, Leroy & Merlin, Fidomestic. He is also involved in musical projects as Apes on Tapes” and Fricat.

After discovering a passion for nightlife, gAs (a.k.a. Enrico Gasperini) started spinning vinyls at the age of eighteen, while studying Computer Sciences; his love for electronic music drove him to establish a close partnership with an underground record store specialized in Detroit Techno, called MainStreet Records. Currently he’s an active member of Memento Records, an independent electronic label founded by Idriss D and Fabrizio Maurizi; he’s also started a more housey side project, “gAs vs Linuz”, with his friend and musical soul mate Lino Pugliese. Their tracks have been released on Danilo Vigorito’s Orion Muzik.
